The Story of the Lotus

The story of the lotus is an inspirational one for me. It rises up from the mud, through muddy water, and blooms in beautiful white, yellow, and pink. It is associated with rebirth and spiritual enlightenment in many cultures. But for me it’s a symbol of how difficult times makes us who we are. Every experience (the mud) makes us the beautiful flowers that we are today. Sadly, too many women don’t think of themselves as very flower-like or beautiful. I help my clients begin to appreciate the experiences, positive and negative, they have had in life and see themselves as beautiful and capable as a result. I love to see this transformation!
